Helpful Tips for the starting adventurer!
The first thing your going to want to do is Level Up! You only need to be job Level 10 to start your path as either a swordsman, thief, archer, merchant, mage, acolyte, super novice, teakwon, ninja, Soul Linker or Gunslinger. So lets get to it!
For Donors: The best possible gear we suggest for Leveling up quickly as possible is an Angra Manyu paired with The Shield of All Shields; the Ahura Mazdah. With those two combined you can be a novice or lower Level first class and yet fight monsters that normally a player would need to be level 80 or higher to fight with ease! Of course the headgear upper and middle donates with all stats +30 will help you imensly as well and will set your fighting ability for higher level monsters even better.
For None Donors: Grab your knife and speak twice to the NPC at the Training Grounds right as you warp in! She'll give you a free Level just for speaking to her. Then you can either proceed to the training grounds across the bridge or warp to Prontera with the command @go 0
We recommend that you keep on the command @autoloot at all times! when your inventory gets filled just type @storage to place your loots into it and keep fighting!
Making Money: It's always a good idea to have a Merchant type character with Discount and Overcharge Skills Level 10, that way you can afford more Leveling supplies such as potions and weaponry easier. Putting loot into storage and then selling that loot on a Merchant character with Overcharge to any Tool Dealer NPC will greatly increase your money for those items.
You will very soon be in need of a better weapon! You can buy weapons based on your class at the Yuno Mall (@go yuno), the prontera weapon shop, the Izlude weapon shop, the prontera church, etc.. (A good place to find where to buy specific weapons is www.ratemyserver.net) You'll want to save up some money to upgrade that weapon too in the prontera weapon shop where you can buy Phracon(used to upgrade Level 1 weapons) and Emveretarcon (used to upgrade Level 2 weapons) for higher weapon types you'll need Pure Oridecon to upgrade. In the Prontera upgrade shop an NPC will turn 4 rough oridecons into 1 pure oridecon. Only go to the safe limit on upgrading unless you have money to spare to buy another weapon in case yours breaks!
Safe limit for upgrading level one weapons is +7.
Safe limit for upgrading level two weapons is +6.
Safe limit for upgrading level three weapons is +5.
Safe limit for upgrading level four weapons is +4.
Safe limit for upgrading armor and equipments is +4. Upgrading armors and equipments requires Elunium, dropped by almost all MVP's. 4 Rough Eluniums can be turned into 1 pure elunium(dropped by many lower level monsters) in the prontera upgrade shop.
We also have a custom forge VVVHS(Very Very Very strong Hardened weapon types) system for Blacksmiths/Whitesmiths/Mechanics.
(NOTE): For forging weapons you have a greater ability to upgrade them yourself with less fail if your a Mechanic with max job level: 120.
